PROVENCE OF ALPINE PASSES

This road trip starts from Aix en Provence. You warm up on the highway to the borders of the Gap area. Have a first look on the reflecting lake of Serre-Ponçon before following the Ubaye River among majestic mountains and arriving at Barcelonnette, a beautiful village next to the Mercantour National Park. Then cross the Allos Pass and admire the breathtaking view on the valley while the Ferrari roars and bursts forth on the Route des Grandes Alpes to reach two other mythical passes: the Vars Pass with its Napoleon refuge and the Izoard Pass at the edge of Queyras. The landscapes are absolutely astounding.

After an unforgettable drive through a magical world, you arrive at Briançon, the city of art and history located at an altitude of 1326m. On the way back, you cross the Bonette pass at an altitude of 2715m. Then you head south through the wildlife paradise of the Mercantour National Park. The road goes wild; the roar of the Ferrari echo’s to the rocks and ignites thrilling feelings. This pass ends on the Mediterranean Coast with a last stage on the Bay of Cannes, one of the most famous cities of the French Riviera.
